Producer & Host
The development of the "Public Relations Review Podcast" was initiated following a lunch Peter had with a colleague in the summer of 2018. After researching "podcasts" and combined with his eight years of "on-air" radio hosting and production experience he decided to launch his podcast in January 2019 onto a single site: Soundcloud..
Peter has established his professional credentials with 25+ years in public relations with successful experience at very senior levels. A Washington, DC native he began his senior positions at the National Education Association as the Media Relations Manager and also anchor on the NEA's satellite television channel. He left NEA to become press secretary to a former chairman of the U.S. Congress Committee on Education and Labor. He was also press secretary to two other Members of Congress. Following his years working in Congress he was selected as communications director for Clinton's campaign in Delaware and later joined the Presidential Inaugural Committee as the manager for Western states. Following the Inauguration he joined President Bill Clinton's administration at the US Department of Education. After the close of Clinton's administration, he was a consultant to the US Surgeon General. He later was recruited to become the Vice President of Communications at Fisk University in Nashville, TN. In addition to other successes he re-programmed WFSK-FM radio to smooth jazz in 2002. The station has now become one of the nation's top smooth jazz stations.
While in D.C. Woolfolk was a part-time radio host & produced for eight years. He also produced and hosted a cable TV show on the early BET Cable system. His radio shows were recognized with multiple awards.
The Public Relations Review Podcast has received numerous awards and multiple "Best Podcast" ratings.
